Preparing students to be successful in life beyond school is challenging. Many educational systems focus on preparing students to take and pass tests. Often, students learn specific content and skills to prepare to answer questions on these tests. To be successful beyond school, they need to be able to thoroughly understand critical content and associated skills while applying this knowledge to new and messy real-world situations.
